Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine and assess the efficacy and effectiveness of preconceptual counseling in the U.S. The study will evaluate the potential that preconceptual care and counseling holds in improving population pregnancy outcomes and the benefits and costs of current counseling methods in a formal cost-benefit analysis.
