| Abstract: | $162,000 to Duke University Medical Center to develop an application of a comprehensive model of practice improvement through a multi-disciplinary headache management service. Chronic headache affects between 6 percent and 17 percent of the population, and many patients are not adequately diagnosed and do not receive appropriate preventive medication or behavioral modification therapy. The study will identify, pilot and ultimately test the development of a headache management service in a randomized trial. |
